About Us

Farms For Orphans strives to break the cycle of hunger, malnutrition, and poverty while enabling orphans to become productive and valued members of their community.

Farms for Orphans, Inc. is working to alleviate malnutrition and hunger in one of the world’s lowest socioeconomic sectors- orphaned children- through the introduction of small-scale edible insect farms.  Because of their nutritional composition, minimal resource requirements, and simple rearing techniques insects can offer an economical and environmentally sound opportunity to counter nutritional insecurity.

We believe that when children have the nutrients they need to survive and thrive waves of human potential will be unleashed.

The fight to end the cycle of hunger, malnutrition, and poverty requires many hands. Learn how you can get involved with Farms For Orphans here.
